In ministry we can walk by sight. It is a very normal thing to do.
But we are counseled in the Word to walk by faith.
Listen as we discuss the need of stepping out into places we do not have all the answers… then watch as God begins to work.
In the 1800’s a proposed railway line from Boston to the Hudson River was shot down.
Then in the mid-1800’s Alvah Crocker was able to get the funding needed.
He had the backing of several important people…they projected the cost to go through the Hoosac Mountain would be no more than $2 million.
“Why, sir, it seems as if the finger of Providence had marked out this route from the east to the west.”—”Perhaps so,” answered Alvah Crocker, ” but it is a pity that the finger of Providence hadn’t been thrust through the Hoosac Mountain.”
They were wrong…OR were they?
